Three of Sumters barbette guns were dismo anted, one of which was a-ten inch Columbiad. A corner of Fort Sumter eppoMK. FortMoulirie was knocked off. Maj. Ande son has drawn down the stars nd stripes and displayed a white flag which has Veen answered from the city, and a boat is on the way to Fort Sumter.
