When are we goiuj to luve thnt party ? Mr. Edwards says the room is now ready. Let us h;ive it M;n. Are tlicy to Uv. Tiiitcd ? Are such men as the leaders of tlie Repuhücan party in this county to be trusted ? fhis is a question that every honet roter of Marshall county should ask himself. For the sake of political power they slander and defame the character of their neighbors nd friends. Nt misrepresentation is too great for them to circulate about Democrats, of whosi kospitalities they have often partook, and whose honesty and integrity they do not for en moment seriously doubt. They circulate in the meanest conceivable mani.er, the lies manufaetured by the president of the court house clique, than whom there is not a more deceptive, hLhonest and hypocritical politician to be found any where. These very men, who h ive fr years delighted in calling the Democratic party the 44 whiskey Democracy," because Democrats did not advocate tnnh law, hav now turned about and put on their county ticket a man who is, by the manufacture and sale of his ber and whiskey, miking more drinkers than all the ret of the 44 rum se ller" in tfic county. Some of them have already told us that they are doin this to secure the election of their candidates, and admitted that it was 44 corrupt, but after seein that he h id admitted too much for the good of his rotten and corrupt cause, said th:y had learned these tricks of the Demerath party, an t that they wer going to put them into use. This acknowledging that they intend being as "corrupt" as they have groundlesaly charged the Democrats with being, or in other words, as 'corrupt' as thy can be. They have run out of principles to contend for, and have resolved to carry this election with Hoi.iiin's laoeh bkir avd wiimkct, 8nd for the sake of getting it cheap they have put the manufacturer en the ticket, but for the poorest effice in the county : thus showing that tkey will drink his liecrand sell hm to secure the election of their their prt. As an evidence that they intend to trad in rotes this fall, we M-te that one of the prominent wire-workers in the place, has offered to bt us th it ONE of their candidates will gcta majority of ONE HUNDRED. He isaTKiotxo individual, and will be out on that business this fall. He is one of those who has of late been circulating some of the yarns manufactured by the clique. , . s Again we ask, are such men to be trusted with th businet f the county, when, in only two year's prwer thej hare proren themselves as 'corrupt' as thej bare tried to make the people of Marshall believe the Democrats have been. Are such men entitled to the confidence of any honet man?

The Doctor wa called up, and responded by t aying that he was 44 ready for anything," and continued to peak in this manner lor some time. Dr. Sherman was then called for, and spoke much in the same spirit, but with much more sense than Brown. At another time wc heard Rev. A Fuller make some very eloquent and feeling remarks about secng young men, (who first commenced drinking lager beer) 44 going abont our streets whose very features were ery ing-for-rereng against themm-ellr." -Will these men support the entire Republican ticket ? The Senator has declared 1 is intention to go Ho ham, ud says the others ought to have their leads cracked if they don't." Sanctioned by the highest Medical authorities, both in Europe and the L'n'ted States, and prescribed in their practice. Tlie experiences of thousand daily proves that no preparation of iron can Oe compared with it. Impurities f the blood, depression of ital wnertrv pale and otherwise hicklv complexions indicate i'.. ! necessity in almost every conceivable case. Innoxious in all maladies iu which it haa been tried, it has proved absolutely curative in each of the following complaints, viz In debility , nervous affect ions, emaciation, dv.pepsia, constipation, (!iarrhna., dysentery, incipient consumption, scrofulous Tuberculosis, Salt Rheum, misruenstruation, whites, fluorosis, liver complaints, chronic headaches, ihcumati-m, intermittent fevers, pimple on the face, e. In case of peLcral debility, whether the result of acute disease, or of the continued Jiuiunition of nervous and mucalar energy from chronic complaints, one trial of this restorative has ruled successful which no description or attestation wo'd render credible. Invalids so lon bedridden -o long as to have become forgotten in their own neighborhoods, h ive suddenly reappeared in the busy world us if just returned from protracted travel In a dtstant I and Some very signal instances of this kind are attested of female snffercis, em ici.i ted victims of apparent marasmus, pan-tiineus cxhausliou, critical changes, and that complication of nervous and dvsiieptic aiersion to air and exer cise for which the physicians have no name. In Nervous Affeetions of al! kinds, aud for reasons familiarto medical men, the operation of this preparation of iron must necessarily be salutary, for, unlike the old oxides, it is vigorously tonic, without, being exciting and overheating; andgcntlv j regularly aperient, even in the most obstinate ca
ses of costiveness w ithout ever being a gastric purgative, or inllioing a disagreeable sensation. It is this latter property among others which makes it so remarkably effective for Piles, ujKtn which it also appears to exert a distinct and specif ic action, by dispersing the local tendency which forms them. In Dyspepsia, innumerable as arc it eaucs, a ingle box of thrve Chalybeate Pills has often sufficed for the most habitual cases, including the attendent costiveness In unchecked Diarrrluva, even when advanced to Dyscntary, confirmed, emaciating, and apparently malignant, the effects have been equally decisive and astonishing In the local pains, loss of llesh and strength, debilitating cough and remittent hectic, which generally indicate incipient consumption, this remedy has allayed the alarm of friends and physicians, in several vety gratifying and interesting instances. In Scrofulous Tuberculosis, this medicated iron has had far more than the good effect of the mo-t cautiously balanced preparations of iodine, w ithout any of their well known liabilities Tlie attention of females cannot be tio confi deiitlv directed to this remedy and restorative, in the cases peculiarly affecting them In Rheumatism, both chronic and inflammatory in the latter, however, more, decidedly it has been invariably well reported, both as alleviating pain and reducing the swellings and stiffuess of the joints and muscles In Intermittent Fevers it must be a great remedy nnd energetic restorative, and its progress in the new settlements of the West, will probably be one of high renown and usefulness No remedy hap ever been discovered iu the whole history of medicine which exerts such prompt hippy, and fully restorative elicits (lood appetite, complete digestion, rapid acquisition of strength, with an unusual disposition for active and and cheerful exercise, immediately follow its use Put up in neat flat metal lwixes containing 50 pills, price 50 cents per box; for sale by druggists and dealers Will be sent free to any address on receipt of the price All letters, orders, etc., should be addressed to R.
