Mrs. L. M. Imes, the milliner, will not have an Easter opening this season, but will meet her competitors in prices and styles. An election held in Robert Monday resulted in favor of building eight miles of gravel road. Last year the same town built eleven miles. Our fellow townsman. Geo. L. Morgan, has been appointed guard at the state prison at Michigan City. His family will remain in Rensselaer. Bills are out for the big band tournament to be held here June 3rd. Rensselaer will doubtless have her hands full in caring for the crowd on that day. The Ministerial Association and the Epvorth League organization, of Valpariso district, meet in joint convention at Goodland, May 17, 18 and 19.
