Peoria Elevator Is Burned.

Thursday night fire destroyed the Union elevator at Peoria, 111. The elevator was the property of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad company. It had a capacity of 1,000,000 bushels, and as nearly as can be ascertained contained about 900,000 bushels of grain. The loss is estimated at $400,000, but no statement of insurance can be given. t
