Nice weather and good roads. Farmers are busy shelling and shipping their corn. The box social at Putt’s school house last Friday night was largely attended and all report a good time. Mr. 'and Mrs. C. F. Shroyer of Barkley township were the guests of J. W. Hyatt and family last week. Singing school at Union township was organized Tuesday night, Dec. 15, with John Sage as teacher. The writer of these items wishes youall a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. “Now is your chance girls,” Samuel J. Augspurger has purchased a fine new buggy. George Smith made a business trip to Morocco last week.
