The Heliotrope.

The heliotrope is an emblem of devotion. This idea was probably suggested by the curions habit presented by this flower of taming its face toward the sun. Moore’s poetical lines about the sunflower turning on her god where be sets the same look that she tamed when be rose is not founded on fact The sunflower is not a heliotrope and does not turn to face the sun.
