Lecture on India. Rev. M. C. Miner, a former pastor of theF. W. Baptist church in this city, will give a lecture at the F. W. Baptist church in Rensselaer on the evening of December Ist 1896, at 7:30 p. m. The subject of the lecture will be “The Land of The Vedas.” Mr. Miner has spent nearly Bix years in that strange land and has come home prepared to tell the people many interesting things about the people and country of India. It is hoped a crowded house will greet your former townsman and pastor. Half of the proceeds of the lecture will be for the benefit of the church. Electric Sitters. The horse became frightened at a passing bicycle and ran several blocks through the town before Mrs. Cox was able to stop him. Miss Pritchard jumped out.
