ORDINANCE NO. 23.

Cutting Sod and Removing Earth , An Ordinance forbidding the cutting of sod and removing es earth from streets and alleys of the City of Rensselaer! providing penalties for its violation and declaring an emergency. lOrdainea and established June 22. 1896.) Sec. 1, Be it ordained by the Common Cquncil of the City of Rensselaer, Indiana: That it shall be unlawful to cut, or remove, or cause to be cut or removed, from any of the streets and alleys of the City of Rensselaer, any sod or earth thereou being, and any person convicted of so doing shall be fined in any sum not exceeding Twenty-five ($25.00) dollars. Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in force two weeks from and after its passage and publication in the Ordinances of the City of Rensselaer.
