Ordinance No. 22.
Interference With Marshal. An Ordinance Prohibiting persons from interfering with the Marshal in the discharge of his official duties. (Ordained and established June 22. 1896.) Sec. 1. Be it Ordained by the Common Council of the City of Rensselaer: That any person who shall interfere with the City Marshal or his deputy in the discharge of their official duties, or shall hinder or obstruct the said Marshal or deputy in the discharge ot their duties, shall be fined in any sum not less than Five ($5.00) Dollars nor more than Fifty ($50.00) dollars. Sec. 2 Every person required by the Marshal, his depu ty, Constable, or any conservator of the peace, to assist him in the execution of his office, or in the service of any process, and failing to obey, shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in any sum not less than Five ($5.00) nor more than Twenty-five ($25.00) dollars. Sec. 3. This ordinance shall be in force two weeks from and after its passage and publication in the Ordinances of the City of Resselaer.
