Spring and the Show.
The beautiful birds chant their carol of peace in all things at spring time, and yet with it all, spring brings the beautiful white tents traveling the roads by van and horse from place to place, erecting for a day the canvas housed villages* wherein can gather the multitudes for enjoyment and pleasant amusement, thus passing a few hours with the horseman the skilled athlete, the trained pony and the charming dogs that go to school. Spring cannot come alone, the show must come with it; therefor we will be happy with it. Sitting upon its long rows of seats filled with cheerfulness, looking upon all that is great and listening to the popular music of the “gay Circus Band,” intersperced here and there by outbursts of mirth caused by the Fancy Clown'6 anties, and his indispensible repartee with the Ring Master, it all goes to make up this life, and life is surely worth living, while we must admit we cannot live without the Circus show once in a while. To that end the wonderful Sun Bros, seek your patronage and will visit us Thursday Aug. 6th. Rensselaer Ind. Erecting|their tent on Spitzler lots north of depot. Numerous sights are to be seen within its arena, and the small priee of 25 cents pays the bill.
