Prof. Mickey Kills Dr. Dailer for a Young Woman Whom He Was to Wed. At Bards, 111., near Vincennes, Dr. J. H. Dailey was killed by Prof. Sampson T. Mickey in a quarrel over a young woman whose home was at Dr. Dailey’s and to whom, it is alleged, Prof. Mickey was betrothed. Dr. Dailey and hia wife were sitting in the office when Prof. Mickey passed. Dailey asked his wife to retire from the office and called in Prof, Mickey. Soon after Mickey entered the office five shots were heard, Friends found Mickey standing over Da|ley with a revolver in his hand, jjlalley 'had a revolver tehffEin Sfc right hand. It is believed it was a duel at short range in which the professor was quickest in using his weapon.
