Farmers have sown a great deal of oats. John Lakin was in Chicago last Saturday. This school closed Wednesday with a fine time. Albert Keener was in Chicago last Saturday. J. W. Fay lor spent Saturday and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Austin at Wheatfield. Union Center or “Floating Palace”school closed last Saturday. The day was fine and there were thirty four visitors. The afternoon was spent in speaking, reading,*etc. Lola M. Favlor is visiting her sister, Mrs. Joseph Austin, at Wheatfield this week. School Girl.
