China Wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. John Putt of Iroquois Township, Newton County, celebrated their China Wedding at their home April 11th. by giving their many friends a splendid evening's entertainment. An elegant and vejy inviting supper was served to about seventy invited guests. The rooms and tables were handsomely decororated. After supper the bride appeared arrayed in her wedding costume of twenty years ago and was greeted by a rousing serenade from the boys. Many useful and handsome presents were received. The presents were presented and well wishes of the guests expressed by J. W. Sage. Mr. and Mrs. Putt expressed their many thanks for the presents, and for the pleasure they had enjoyed in welcoming their friends to their home, inviting each one to come again. Old and young alike had been highly entertained and each retired feeling that they had enjoyed a very pleasant evening. A Guest.
