A Goodlander Missiny.

Frank Conway, the contractor, who, with his family, has been living at Frog Level, La., the past year, mysteriously disappeared a few weeks ago. Conway has been engaged in building several miles of railroad grade at a point about twenty miles from Shreveport, and his family was with him until about five weeks ago, when Conway so mysteriously disappeared, since which time Mrs. Conway has returned to the farm near Goodland and is making every possible effort todiscover the whereabouts of Conway. It seems that when the railroad contract was completed a few weeks ago, Frank announced his intention of going to Shreveport to see a man who owed him 8600, and with 8200 in his pocket left the camp at Frog Level. He wastraced to Shreveport, but beyond that nothing can be heard from him, and it is greatly feared that he met with foul play. Mr. Conway owns a farm about a mile northwest of Goodland, and was the contractor for the construction of Newton and Union gravel streets. He is a shrewd business man and an individual pretty well calculated to take care of himself.— Good land Herald.
