Joint Celebration.
A joint celebration of Washington’s birthday was held by the Putts and James schools Friday afternoon at the James school house. The exercises consisted of patriotic declamations, songs and dialogues. The last on the program was. “The meeting of the Continental Congress in which the Declaration of ludependence was signed.” On a whole the exercises were very good and every one present enjoyed himself very much.
