Tennessee Statesmen Fight.
Nashville, Tenn., Jan. 15.—Representative T. H. Baker of OafroU county and Commfarioner of Agriculture Adison had two personal encounters at the capital yesterday and hit each other with fists, but no damage other than black eyes resulted. Baker charged that Allison had furnished the transportation to farmers to attend the farmers’ conventions and the Atlanta exposition, and wanted to know by what authority he was using the state’s funds. The commissioner promptly branded the statement as false and demanded the name of the author. Baker refusing to tell, the encounter followed.
