A Kentuckian’s Awful Mistake.
Wesley Mines, of Vanceburg, Ky., voted the populist ticket by mistake Tuesday and has grieved about it until his death is hourly expected. Apparently he couldn’t feel much worse if he had taken a drink of water by mistake.—Chicago Dispatch. There are plenty of old party fossils in Indiana who would feel about the same way, and the stronger the populists get the more nauseating such a mistake is becoming.
