Resolutions of Respect.

Mrs. Jay W. Williams entertained a club of twelve ladies last Saturday from two till five in honor of Mrs. F. J. Sears, who will soon leave for her home in lowa, the following resolutions were passed: Whereas, Mrs. F. J. Sears will soon remove from our midst, therefore, be it Resolved, —That our Lad.es’ Club in her departure loses one of its most valued members. She being of a joviai nature and sterling character, although absent from us, her kind deeds and pleasant face will ever remain fresh in our memory. Resolved,—That the club go to the depot in a body to say “Good Bye” on the day of her departure. Resolved,—That a copy of these resolutions be presented to her as a memoir-of our pleasant meetings together, - and be it Resolved, —That our best wishes for her future happiness and prosperity go with her to her new home.
