GREETING.

In this, bur first and last editorial, it behooves us to express our gladness in being able to present you with such reading matter as follows, owing to the kindness of the contributors. We herein offer them our hearty thanks for their willingness and readiness to assist in making this number a worthy souvenir of the laying of the corner-stone of Our New Church. Special mention is due the editor of the People’s Pilot, Mi. Craig, for his magnanimous offer of all the proceeds of this issue of liis paper. as his contribution to our enterprise. The Presbyterian congregation will endeavoi, and hope to prove worthy, not only of the friendship of the community, but of the vocation wherewith they are called.
