PUBLISHER'S NOTICE.

This number of the People's Pitot is issued under the auspices of the Presbyterian Church, the editorial work being entirely done by friends of that society. Such income as may be derived from the advertisments, sale of copies, etc., will be used in the building of the new church edifice, the corner stone of which was laid last Tuesday. The plan of this edition together with the use of the Pilot and printing appurtenances is the undersign’s contribution to Ibis worthy undertaking. Respectfully,
