En B ene V. D«bs Hag Not Lost Any o f His Contempt. The Supreme court is a supreme nuisance. Contempt for United States courts is national, continual and constitutional. The question now is what does it cost to “get the decision” required of the supreme court? The question is still unanswered, how much of Choate’s $2,000,000 did Shiras receive for his change of front? It has been suggested that a commission be appointed to count the blow holes in the constitution , made by the supreme court. If contempt of the supreme court was star dust, God could build anqther world with the material and have enough left for two moons. Jefferson said the supreme court would ultimately wreck the republic, and a man is blind who does not see that Jefferson’s prediction is being fulfilled. There are about two and seventy small fry attachments of the supreme judiciary, most of whom represent a separate and well-defined judicial stink. Four supreme judges express their contempt for five supreme judges', and five supreme judges express their contempt for four supreme judges—what a contemptible gang it is, sure enough.— Railway Times. Its mighty hard to get a silver democrat to say how he will vote in case his party nominates a gold bug for president next year.
