Petersburg, Va., Oct. 10. —The funeral of General Mahone took place from St. Paul’s Episcopal church yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock, and was very largely attended. The service was conducted by Rev. John Rideout, rector of Grace Episcopal church. The floral tributes were very numerous.
