Iron-Molders in Session.
Chicago, July 10.—The International Iron-Molders’ Union convention was called to order at 10 o'clock this morning at Brand s Hall, North Clark street. President Martin Fox presided and a good representation of the entire country was present. When all arrive it is expected that the delegates will number 300, which will be the largest convention of a single craft ever held. The morning was taken up in the presentation and acceptance of credentials. The Pacific coast is represented by one man from several organizations. The representatives of the Pittsburg district have not put in an appearance. Extensive preparations have been made by local iron'molders to entertain tHe visitors, w’ho will be here for two weeks, while the convention lasts.
