Stoutsberg. June 25. Stoutsberg and vicinity was treated to a genuine sand storm this afternoon. New hay is being loaded on the cars for shipment from this place. Justice J. E. Lintner injured one of his hands in the ball game the other day. This is unfortunate for the nine, as the Esq. is one of the best players. Miss Anna Erwin is the guest of Mrs. Shaffner this week. Will Stimson is laid up with a bruised leg. Chas. Yeagley is home from Senniman, 111., to visit his parents. Charles rides a bran new bicycle these days. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Porter, Mr. and Mrs. Will Porter, Miss Edith Porter, Miss M. Carthy and Mr. Melatte, of Koutts, spent Sunday with A Stimson and family. t Leon Shaffner is suffering with inflammation of the eyes. George A. Sprague, agent for the Wm. Parry Monumental works of Crown Point, is setting up work in the Myers’ cemetery this week. Heil and little daughter Ethel, of Lake Village, visited old friends of this place last Sunday. Prof. Vincent, of Indianapolis, and James Welsh, of Rensselaer, gave the members of Stoutsberg Alliance No. 335 an interesting talk last week. Wm.
