He was a bachelor and the nearest of kin are cousins, to whom will descend an estate of considerable value. The funeral occurred from the residence Sunday afternoon, Rev. R. D. Utter officiating. Leroy Sayer*. Leroy Sayers, one of the oldest settlers of Jasper county, died suddenly of heart failure while at work in the field gathering corn stalks last Tuesday a fternoon, at the age of 64 years. The funeral was held at the Church of God Wednesday afternoon, Rev. B. F. Ferguson delivering the funeral address.
