Mrs. Enslen who has been at Raub, Benton county, for several weeks has returned. J. F. Pass, of Central, 111., has been in town for a few days and fris unsqmmon height and social manners have attracted the attention of most everybody on the streets. Uncle Simon, Dave Shields, the Hemphill boys and their likes all have to look up to him. Wils Porter brought him up to the Pilot office yesterday and from questions and measurements we learned the following: He is 39 years old, weighs 170 lbs. and is 6 ft. 7 in. tall. Mr. Pass is a brother of Sam Pass, of Barkley township.
