LOSES A VALUABLE GRANT.

A St. Paul Road's Forfeiture of Right of Way Through Sioux Reservation, Chamberlain, 8. D., Dec. 12.—The confirmation of the report that President Cleveland has signed a proclamation declaring forfeited the valuable right of way of the Chicago, Milwaukee & St Paul Railroad company across the ceded Sioux lands from this city to the Black Hills is givinganew impetus to the ardor of the homesteaders and townsite men who are striving to obtain possession of the more valuable portions of the forfeited land.
