Irwin Arrested on the Eve of His Departure for Europe. New I£ork, Nov. 26. —George M. Irwin, of Pittsburgh, who is wanted in that city for the alleged misappropriation of 8261,000, was arrested at the Grand hotel late Friday afternoon. He took matters very coolly and said that his arrest was an outrage. He refused to make any statement whatever. Irwin’s capture was effected just in time, as he had purchased a ticket to Europe and was to have sailed to-day. He will be taken back to Pittsburgh at once.
