The new store in town is in the Nowels block. C. D. Nowels proprietor. The grand jury has found an indictment against Sam Thurston for assault with deadly weapon, also indictments against Squire O. Caster and Owen Hurley for petit larceny.

N. is an old experienced crier. Give him a call. Burgess Dillen is wearing a bandage around his head since his encounter with Thurston, Tuesday. It is an honorable wound Mr. Dillen is nursing. He did his work promptly and well, and many are the compliments we have heard passed upon him for his timely and effectual work.
