Benj. :, i Tuteur, the well known groceryman, died at his home in Rensselaer, last Sunday. May 27th, of liver complaint. ; He had been ill but a short time when overtaken by death. His funeral was one of the largest that has ever occurred hero. Many came from a distance to ■ attend it. Mr. Tuteur had many i friends and they regret to learn of his death. The funeral procession was a most impressive one, the Rensselaer band, being at the head, followed by the local lodge of K. of P." of which organization he was a member. The funeral services were conducted at the family residence by Rabbi Cadden. of Lafayette, and Rev. Dr. Utter, of this place. There were many handsome floral pieces from the friends of the deceased, as a tribute of respect to their deceased friend. The remains were interred in Weston cemetery.
