We doubt if there is a more humane place for the restoration of fallen man than the Keeley Institute at Dwight. This institution is complete in almost every detail and the good that has been accomplished by it should certainly be worthy of highest words of praise. There are seven practicing physicians imattendance, who have made tins <si*eat work a study, ami know exactly how to manage a patient who is addicted to these vicious habits. The patient, of course, must ’nave confidence in the treatment and when cured should have manhood enough about him to forever disdain the idea of ever again touching the fatal cup. Marlin J. A case was filed last week with County Clerk Coover on a change of venue from White county. The contestants of the case are Alice K. Spencer vs. Wm. Spencer and this is not the firs', court the suit has been through. The ease was originally tried in White county for divorce and *50.000 alimony. The jury awarded the plaintiff SW,OOO and the divorce, but she was not satisfy d and appealed it to the Supreme Court, where the d' cis.ion was reversed.
