A Statement.

I see in your article of last week on the Iroquois Ditch case, you name me as a petitioner, also as having taken an appeal with amount of bond fixed, and alsoS. P. Thompson (alias Frank Foltz) as my attorney, all of which is a mistake. The facts are these: I was a remonstrant asking a redaction of my assess ment, which I thought, was <x cessive, I am not and never was a petitioner. I have token no appeal though requested to do so by the Kight Hon. S. K T. Presuming you got your in formation from the court rucoiuo, wdl say that 1 am reliably informed that the aforesaid 8. P. T, is responsible for the above errors, which are without my knowledge or consent.
