FLOODED BY A CLOUDBURST.
Bonnes and Crops of Texas Settlers Washed Away Loss of Life Feared. Waco, Tex.. April 17. —Advices from Troy, 30 miles south, state that a terrible cloudburst has flooded Elm Creek bottom, washing away crops for miles and totally destroying them. Many houses have been washed away and much stock drowned. Nc loss of life has been reported so far, but it is considered certain that of the fam ilies living in that section some must have perished, as they have not been heard from. Railroad bridges and telegraph poles were washed away, cutting all all comu y dcation.
