Pointed a Gun at a Girl.

New Yobk, April 18.—Pointing a double-barreled shotgun in fun at a group of young ladies at his father’s house in Hackensack, N. J., Peter Duane shot and killed Belle Shields. As the gun was discharged she stood at the piano singing: “Jesus, Lover of Soul,” and her last words were: “Let me to Thy bosom fly. ’ She was instantly killed.
