Charles .Johnson was arrested near Surrey, last Sunday, by Willis McColly for stealing a horse from Henry Marsh, a well-to-do farmer living in Carpenter township. Johnson is a Hungarian by birth, and had been living in Chicago until a short time ago, when Mr. Marsh received him from an aid society in that city. He proved his thieving disposition in a short time after arriving, and then his last venture in that line was the stealing of one of Mr. Marsh’s horses.
