SLAIN IN A SNOW SLIDE.
Am Entire Town in ldalm> Narrowly Escapes Destruction. Spokane, Wash., Jan.. 16.—A snow slide came down the mountains at Mullam, Idaho, Saturday, carrying everything before it Several miners’ cabins in its path were crushed and buried. Cornelius MkOrevy and John Bollen were eating dinner in their cabins at the time and before they realized their danger the slide was upon them, crushing the life out of them in a twinkling. It is feared others were- buried under the immense avalanche- of snow. Not until spring comes will it be known, how many perished. The town of Muir Lan narrowly escaped being carried away.
