Three bullets took effect and Mrs. Gardner’s condition is reported by. the hospital physicians as critical. Mrs. Bond said when placed under arrest that she intended to kill Mrs. Gardner because she had became between, her and her husband The affections, of her husband, sheclaimed, had become estranged from, her ever since? her acquaintance with Mrs. Gardner-begax> and she could stand it no longer.
