Must Come to It.

Repeal or no repeal, we believe that we must have bimetallism to maintain American monetary independence and to develope our resources and to secure general prosperity for our whole people. Let us have silver and gold and free coinage of both. No secretaries dickering for bullion in Lombard street, or Wall street, but the owners of bullion taking their metal to the mint, getting it coined, paying for the necessary alloy and for coining and taking their metals away again.
