Th os. Jacks is on the sick list. Bohn, to Mr. and Mrs. Olis Jack's, on Ist inst., a boy. Ben Dodd is still shipping some, milk from this point. A. R. Rishling went to Rensselaer last Monday on business. Elvin Overton, of Rensselaer, was in this community last Sunil ay. >Vm. Kenton went to Francesville last week to finish up his hay business. Quite a deep snow’ has fallen and the tracks of the hunter are thicker than the tracks of game. Chas Lee. who is teaching school near Kniman was visiting his father Henry Lee, last Sunday. Thanksgiving was observed here very closely last week. Scarcely anything was done ex cept what was absolutely necessary. Farmers are buying and haul ing corn from Wolcott and other points to this place. Why don’t some of you buy a carload. It could be easily disposed of. Joe Lang who taught school at the Osborne school house, last winter, but who is now leaching in Gillam township Jasper Co., was visiting friends here last Sunday.
