WILL STAY IN MIDWAY.
The Famous Ferris Wheel Will Not Bo Moved. Chicago, Oct. 26. —Whatever may be the fate of other features of the world’s fair the Ferris wheel will turn on its axis for some time to come. It will not be moved to Coney Island or elsewhere. It will remain in Midway Plaisance. This conclusion has been reached by the executive officers of the company andi tis final. The company has the right to its present position on Midway until May I, 1894, and there it will remain. Before the expiration of that time arrangements will probably be made for a contract with the parkcommissioners for the right to the position. Bridget Pendergast, after a sleep of two years’ duration, recently shook off her drowsiness, in the Central hospital at Indianapolis.
