A Fact Not to Be Forgotten.
Never let one elementary fact in thfe. currency discussion be forgotten. The demonetizing of silver has scaled up the amount of every American debt and scaled down the price of every American product And every day that silver is shut out Mr. Sherman increased every American debtor’s liabilities and decreased his assets. And every day that silver is shut out from free coinage takes millions out of the pockets of the producing people of this country and puts them into the pockets of th® non-producing people—the ustirers and the money-changers of this country and of England.—N. Y. Recorder.
