Manistee, Mich., Aug. 25. F. G. Appley, of Pawtucket, R. 1., rowing to the fair on a wager, arrived at the mouth of the Manistee river Wednesday in an aluminum shell 84 feet long, 10% inches beam, deck 1-looth part of an inch, hull l-64th part of an inch, weight 28 pounds.
