Upon receiving the license he cautiously buttoned it in his inside coat pocket and after bidding the cleric goo J bye and cautioning him to keep the matter quiet, left in search of his prospective bride. Before leaving he whispered into the ear of the clerk in gleeful tones that he was marrying a thousand dollars. As becluime-1 in his suit for divorce that his wife married him £or his dimes he is likely to be in tho same position for marrying for the dollars.
