May Shoot the Injured Husband.

Atlanta, Ga., Aug. 1. —The supreme court has rendered a decision in a manslaughter case that will be received with much interest throughout the state. It is to the effect that if a husband, knowing or suspecting his wife’s criminal infidelity, lays a trap for her paramour for the purpose of killing* him in case he should be caught in ha guilt, the paramour has a right to defend himself against a deadly assault made by the husband, even though sur» prised at the moment of his criminality. The court declares the killing of the husband under these conditions iustitt* able.
