A Boiler In an Extensive Greenhouse In Chicago “Lets Go’’ MMeh Damage Is Done —One Man Injured. Chicago, April 17. —Albert Fuchs’ large greenhouse, Evanston avenue and Byron street, Lake View, was torn to pieces at 6 p. m. Sunday by the explosion of a condemned boiler used for heating the place. Reinhold Sehilit, the fireman, who was sitting near the boiler, was shot through the broken roof like a rocket to a height of 35 feet and landed unconscious in the yard. He is severely injured and' may die. Forty thousand square feet in the greenhouse was smashed. Many windows in the neighborhood were broken out. A large number of plants contracted for by the management of the woman’s building at the fair were scattered far and wide. The loss is about 615,000.
