Weather is riice and the farmers are very much interested in garden making and oats sow mg. We have about thirty cases of measles in our town. We had an ex-Catholic to lecture in the Christian church on Monday and Tuesday nights against Catholicism. It is reported that Dr. Turner has sold his drug store to G. 0. Stemble and Frank Scott. Mr. Bruner loaded his goods and left our town last Tuesday evening to go -where he had a job of work. Our school commenced last Monday again. There is some talk of two new hotels being erected in our town in the near future. We had two horse buyers in our town last Tuesday. Mr. Prevo, of Medaryville, made our town a short visit Tuesday. Hay is leaving our.town rapidly. G. O. Stemble sent out twenty-nine car loads last week.
