SORGHUM VALLEY.

The spring work is taking several of our big “school boys” out of school, which reduces our school in size some, though not in interest. Jerry Shay has a new wind pump lately erected, -which adds greatly to the appearance of his premises. Joe Pollock had some bad luck last week with a fire. He was burning some stubble when the fire got away from him and burned his stable, together with harness, etc. Jack Hoyes also lost three stacks of hay in the same manner. Our school dismisses and paid a visit to the Surrey school last Friday and a most enjoyable time was Experienced by all. School Boy.
