TOBACCO and snuff have long been supplied to the paupers in the Lambeth workhouse, and now the board of guardians has passed a resolution: “That the old women in the workhouse who do not take snuff be supplied with sweets.” AMERICAN BEAR and Eagle Elk, two Sioux'lndians, who were taken to Sydney, N.
