Colored People’s Grand Jubilee.

BOSTON, Feb. 1.—The joint committee on ceremonies of the World’s Columbian exposition have set apart a day in August, 1893—probably the 17th —for the use and pleasure of the colored people of the United States. And they propose to have a day of praise and thanksgiving. There will be at least 100,000 present. Their best talent in oratory and music will take part. The afternoon will be entirely devoted to music. There will be a large chorus of 2,000 voices, an orchestra of 100 AfroAmerican instrumentalists and a male chorus of fifty voices.
