Miss Blanche Hoyes. of this place, dismissed her school last week at Belle Center, on account of sickness. Mr. Geo. Fritz, of Badger Grove, is the guest of his father-in-law, Jno. Nowels, this week. Mr. Jake Gilmore and his sister Kitty and Miss Dora Thornton spent Saturday and Sunday with friends at Goodland. There was a large crowd out to our spelling school last Wednesday night and all enjoyed a good time. Lewis Wilcox of Surrey, was the champion speller. Rev. J. W. Noland filled Rev. Shaft’s place in the pulpit last Sunday. School Boy.
